Headquartered in the Basel area in Switzerland, we specialise in bringing people together, support a learning environment and create new businesses with agile methodologies in the field of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the UN.
Whether you’re a foundation, a government agency, a department of a large enterprise, or a scaling startup, we will support your initiative, develop or spin it off, so it can grow and prosper and be part of the ecosystem.
We are interested in innovative, sustainable, and human centered projects and initiatives. We select them carefully and - once we commit to them - drive them forward with passion, empathy and dedication.
We bring extensive experience and professionalism to every case and customise our support to your individual needs and concerns. We will source - if needed - talents from junior to senior from our network, mostly from the local, Swiss-wide and global net of Impact Hubs.
Areas of Practice
Medgate
More than 300 motivated staff members share the goal of improving healthcare. Since 2000, Medgate has operated the Medgate Tele Clinic, the largest telemedicine center in Europe run by doctors. For local consultations, Medgate Mini Clinics as well as the doctors and clinics of the Medgate Partner Network are also available to patients. www.medgate.ch

Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area
The Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area acts as a catalyst for innovation and progress – connecting, supporting and engaging people with ideas and passion in biotech, medtech, digital health, healthtech and industrial transformation. sip-baselarea.com
André was mandated by the cantons of the Basel area and the Basel chamber of commerce to conceptualise the park. He was building, running and leading the 5000m2 park as CEO from 2013-2016.
Impact Hub Basel

Impact Hub Basel is a community of purpose-driven members and organisations focused on working towards the Sustainable Development Goals and making a positive impact in the world. André was a co-founder of the Impact Hub Basel and supported the creation, funding, and running the Hub from 2016 to the end of 2019. He still serves as a volunteer one day a week.
He was also a founding member of Impact Hub Switzerland in 2019.
